The Junction Health Centre
Appointments are available Monday to Saturday 8am-6:30pm for registered patients. We offer appointments with our clinicians throughout the day both face to face and telephone consultations. The clinical team consists of GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Clinical Pharmacists and Health Care Advisors. Appointments are pre-bookable up to 4 weeks in advance or sooner if your condition is urgent.
We are also the host service for the Wandsworth Enhanced Access Hub – offering appointments to wider wandsworth practices in the evenings and on weekends. Appointments are arranged directly with your GP Practice.
To meet the needs of our patients, GP practices are working together with community, mental health, social care, pharmacy, hospital and voluntary services in their local areas in groups of practices known as Primary Care Networks (PCNs)

The Junction Health Centre
Services available
Everything about The Junction Health Centre makes it easier to access the care you need, when you need it. We have a range of services available at our GP practice:
- Cervical screening (Smear Test)
- Vaccinations and Immunisations, including Travel vaccinations
- Contraceptive services (including coil and implant fittings and removals).
- Maternity services.
- Health promotion and disease prevention (support services for stopping smoking, weight loss, alcohol advice).
- Nurse led services including blood tests, ECGs, dressings etc.
- Social prescriber – for support with issues like loneliness, debt, or housing.
- Chronic disease management – if you have a long term condition such as Diabetes, Asthma, Hypertension or a learning disability we will invite you in for an annual review with our team. This usually consists of an appointment with the nurse for a blood test and health check, then a follow up with the correct member of the team for medication review.
e-CONSULT – (Online appointment requests/Triage)
● eConsult is a more convenient way to get help from your surgery: for your condition, symptoms or for administrative requests
● Using eConsult allows them to explain why they want an appointment – they don’t have to try to explain everything within the first few minutes
of an appointment
● eConsults are filled in online and can be done at any time, day or night, and even on the weekend
● The practice can then decide how best to help you – you may not even need to come in to the surgery
● After your eConsult, the practice will get back in touch and let you know what the next steps are

More ways to access your GP
We have longer Practice hours, and are open on weekends too. And with phone, face to face and home visits available for housebound patients, it’s easier than ever to see or speak with a clinician.
Online services
As one of our registered patients you can opt in to use online services when you register with The Junction Health Centre. This will enable you to access appointment booking, prescription requests, medical records and NHS COVID Pass.
