Appointments

Appointments are available at The Junction Health Centre Monday to Saturday, 8am-8pm. Outside of these times you will need to call the out-of-hours service on 111.

To book an appointment you can go online and log in to your Patient Access account, or you can book an appointment over the phone. Please use eConsult if you have a general health question or need administrative help.

Call us

Home visits

We offer home visits for housebound, very ill or elderly patients only. Non-urgent home visits can be arranged with your doctor with a few days’ notice. Urgent visits will be done as quickly as possible, but your preferred doctor may not be available.

Please call us on 0300 130 3333 if you wish to make a home visit appointment. If you call after 6.30pm your home visit will be undertaken by the local out-of-hours service.

Telephone consultation service

We offer a telephone consultation service with clinicians throughout the day so you do not have to be a part of the 8am rush. Simply call the practice anytime during opening hours and our team will schedule you in for a call back with a clinician. You will be contacted within two hours of your allocated appointment slot. The clinician will discuss your problem over the phone and if they need to see you, they will arrange an appointment for later in the day or at a time and day that suits you.

If you would like to book an appointment with a healthcare professional (like a nurse or healthcare assistant) you can book here or call us – you don’t need to speak to a doctor.

Appointment reminders

We offer a free texting service. If you would like to use this service, please ensure that our patient services team have your most up to date contact information.

Cancelling your appointment

You will receive a reminder text 24 hours before your appointment. Simply reply to the text message to cancel your appointment. Alternatively, you can contact one of our team who will cancel the appointment for you.
