Appointments are available at The Junction Health Centre every day, 8am-8pm, including bank holidays. Outside of these times you will need to call the out-of-hours service on 111. You can also book appointments online via your Personal Health Hub if you have created your new online account. Click here to access this. If you would like to book an appointment with a healthcare professional (like a nurse or healthcare assistant) you can book with us directly without needing to speak to a doctor.
We offer home visits for housebound, very ill or elderly patients only. Non-urgent home visits can be arranged with your doctor with a few days’ notice. Urgent visits will be done as quickly as possible, but your preferred doctor may not be available. Please call us on 0300 130 3333 if you wish to make a home visit appointment. If you call after 6.30pm your home visit will be undertaken by the local out-of-hours service.
We offer a telephone consultation service with a doctor throughout the day so you do not have to be a part of the 8am rush. Simply call the practice anytime during opening hours and our team will schedule you in for a call back from a GP. You will be contacted within 2 hours of your allocated appointment slot. The doctor will discuss your problem over the phone and if they need to see you, they will arrange an appointment for later in the day or at a time and day that suits you.
We offer a free texting service. If you would like to use this service, please ensure that our patient services team have your most up to date contact information.
It’s easy to book or cancel an appointment with your GP or nurse online, 24 hours a day – Just log on to your Personal Health Hub if you have created your new online account. Alternatively if you haven’t created your Personal Health Hub you can still access your online services here to amend or cancel your appointment. You will need a username and password, available from our patient services assistants.
If you think you’re likely to forget your appointment, you can ask to receive our free reminder texting service.
Dear patients – if you have recently travelled to China in the last 14 days and have developed a fever, cough or are feeling unwell, or have come into contact with someone who has tested positive for the coronavirus and you are concerned – please stay at home and call 111, you will be assessed through this service, do not attend the walk-in centre or the practice.
